Veni, Vidi, Vici: Nomadé Studio Visit
As an artist, one of my favorite things to do is visit another artist's space. When I was invited to visit the confidential location of the Nomadé I went to the nearest liquor store and grabbed them a case of beer. When you're consistently creating solid work like Nomadé.... you get thirsty. Real thirsty. Who wouldn't? The images created by this group are epic and will remain a staple in the Los Angeles street scene. They have an extraordinary sense of design and an eye for the iconic.
One aspect of the Nomadé that makes them so unique is their brotherhood. Their work grows stronger on the streets and their presence is unwavering largely due to their collaboration. The upcoming show at Little Tokyo's Hold Up Art will not disappoint. Expect a few surprises and a line around the corner outside the gallery on Saturday July 23rd.
